Statistics and the probability theory
Course for students of Biomedical Engineering, specialization Medical Engineering. It comprises lectures and accompanying classes.

1. Organization of the course/Syllabus
Attendance at lectures is obligatory (two unexcused absences are permitted). Grading policy: at the end of the course there will be a written exam (5 problems to solve). Your final grade will be formed on the basis of the exam results according to the following table

Grading policy on classes
Attendance at classes is obligatory (two unexcused absences are permitted).There will be two tests each with 4 problems, the first at the midpoint of the semester, and the second at the end. The solution of each problem will be evaluated on a scale of 0 - 5 points. You will be able to earn extra points for other class activities (short tests, answers at the blackboard,...).
